Try this solution:

I am using Vista machine: Here is the navigation to fix similar kind issue I faced.

Right Click on Start menu and Goto Properties.

In Taskbar and Startmenu properties -> Start Menu -> Customize -> Uncheck Highlight newly installed programs.

and Restart.

Not sure how the navigation would appear in other OS. But you would this definitely have this option checked.

This solved my problem. Let me know if this solves your as well.

Ok the site I created is http://www.shoutor.com/pages/marketplace which is a market place for products.
